Foundry Relationship Manager at Typekit in San Francisco, CA

We’d like to hire a product focused lover of all things web and type design. You’ll be focused on managing our foundry relationships (new and existing), working with our Type Manager on type quality issues, and managing the development of foundry focused tools and reports. The foundries you work with will rely on you to represent their ideas for product improvements. 

The Role

  • Manage inbound requests from foundries
  • Lead current foundry partner communications, including promotions of all sorts
  • Manage and generally advocate for foundry tools within Typekit
  • Represent Typekit in the type community

The Experience

  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Knowledge of  typography and type design
  • Product management chops
  • Diplomacy coupled with negotiating skills
  • Comfort with financial reporting (as a consumer, if not creator)

We have over 250,000 customers including some of the largest sites on the web today: The New York Times, Conde Nast, IGN, Twitter, and many others. Based in San Francisco, the company was founded in 2008 by some of the web’s most experienced designers and developers with the goal of advancing what's possible on the web. The team we’re building continues to reflect that.
